I am often crazy busy - I try to put my account on vacation when I'm too busy, but please know that it might take me a week to get around to mailing books. To ease my budget, I prefer to send books via media mail. USPS says it takes about a week, but it can be quite a bit longer. I will ship internationally if I can do it for less than $9 per book, so feel free to ask and I can check the shipping expenses to your country. Bio:
I am always trying to declutter my house despite the constant stream of books coming in. It can be hard to find a place that is willing to take books off my hands even for free, and it makes me sad to think of them in an awful pile in the back room at a thrift store, waiting for months to show up on a shelf. This is the perfect way to share books I've enjoyed (or not!) and don't need to keep around. Now I am collecting books to give away to kids and teens in my city. My church works with kids in our community that don't always have enough books at home... we are giving away books through a free little library and hosting "Read and Feed" events combining books, reading, and free nutritious meals. My home is smoke-free, but I do have a cat who mostly ignores books (although he went through a brief phase of chewing on cookbook jackets as a kitten). I try to note flaws beyond things like a little page yellowing and corner wear, which I think are expected in used books. If you are concerned about the condition, please ask and I will comment more carefully for you.
