Status message: 5/28/09 As my husband and I are both out of work, I am placing my account on vacation indefinitely. I may still mooch a book or two to keep me from going completely nuts while we're looking for work. =) *My books come from a home that includes SMOKERS and "projectile-shedding" cats. Books listed are used and have edge wear and spine creasing. I will note anything else in Condition Notes. *Always 2 for 1 on YA and Harlequin-type romances. Point(s) refunded when books ship.
Bio: Die-hard bibliophile and coffee addict, who is blessing the fates for this website! I have actually managed to have a small "to be read" pile on occasion since joining Bookmooch. I like to look out my window and count the number of packages my mailman is trying to cram into my mailbox. (So far his record is 11 books in 7 packages) Some days his truck is in front of my house a long time and there is only one book in my mailbox. I know he's out there cursing me. =) My family: One "maturity impaired" husband-can repair or build a computer from scratch but is forbidden to *fix* anything else, and a teenaged daughter-who loves to read and adds to my grey hair on an almost daily basis. A census taker once asked me how many children I live with, and I responded "Mentally or chronologically?" We also have Milo, our big vegetarian cat. His hobbies include theft (usually jewelry) to *hide* in his water bowl and playing with doors. And Mia, who is our small bossy kitty. She enjoys Fetch, chasing her tail, and beating the crap out of Milo on a regular basis. *Angel Books: If you are from a country which requires the Flat Rate envelope, please consider mooching more than one (can be from separate members) to defray postal cost. Mooches from multiple owners that arrive individually and are to be shipped together will be wrapped in plastic as they arrive and stored, until all books are received and ready to ship, so as to minimize smoke/pet exposure.
