Ed Hahn (USA: MT) (2010/06/23): Not the best that Kellerman is capable of, the story revolves around unsavory practices by some psychologists, exacerbated by three murders that are somehow connected to each other and to a group of psychologists.Perhaps writing about psychology and psychologists kept Kellerman from moving the plot along as quickly as he does in most of his other books. The major characters Alex Delaware and Milo Sturgis were enjoyable as usual. Delaware's new love interest, Allison, was less interesting and the supporting cast of victims and villains seemed to be more stereotypical than is usually so in a Kellerman book. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable read for me. It started quickly, dragged in the middle with too much explaining, but picked up speed quickly in the last third. The ending was OK and tied up most of the loose ends. Having read all but two or three of the "Alex Delaware" series, perhaps I expect too much.
