Then again, I haven't seen the movie yet. i don't know...I JUST LIKED IT LEAVE ME ALONE! Even the writer gets sucks into that artificial,frivolous world at the expense of relationships etc.

I picked this one up after thoroughly enjoying the movie to find it was absolutely nothing like it - and for once in my life, I enjoyed the movie 10x more than the novel. Weisberger creates a character that is impossible to sympathize with, with an incredibly redundant storyline. I was banging my head against the wall by the end.
