Kristina Martin (USA: CA) (2011/12/22): This book was a difficult read and inspirational at the same time. The horrible physical/emotional/sexual abuse, seclusion, and torture she went through is described in great detail; sometimes resulting in me putting the book down in disbelief. It's horrific to think of all that Jaycee went through during her 18 years of captivity. I am still in awe of her attitude, demeanor and spirit after everything she went through. If you want to know, in every detail, what happened then read the book.
