Imran was a small boy when he arrived in the UK from Pakistan with his parents in 1963. This is his journey through life from infant school to the end of his university days - sex (none), racism (not as much as you'd think, but its there), learning (it got boring). Brought up as a non practicing muslim, his deliberations between Christianity and Islam were fascinating, entertaining and full of information that was new to me, without being overbearing. I felt I had got into the head of this serious, studious and rather priggish child, but I did have fun being there!
